Eileen began working for Tar River Veterinary

Hospital in 1990. She worked her way up from

a Kennel Helper to working as our receptionist. 




Fran Has been working as a Veterinarian's Technician

for over 30 years. Fran began working at Tar River

Veterinary Hospital in September of 1989. 




Jamie Doran has been working as Tar River Veterinary Hospital's groomer for 16 years, following her completion of Grooming School. Between 1996 and 2000, Jamie was one of our Kennel Workers. Jamie lives on a small farm in Henderson with her husband and 3 children. Jamie and her family hope to soon breed, promote, and protect the endangered American Cream Draft Horse. The Dorans have many animals on their farm including dogs, cats, turkeys, chickens, peacocks, pet rats, a chinchilla, a ferret, a donkey, and of course horses.



Becky Beach has worked part time on the front desk at Tar River Veterinary Hospital for 15 years. Becky lives in the Pocomoke community with her husband, three dogs, three cats, and two horses. She also and has children and grandchildren that visit often.


Robert began working for Tar River Veterinary Hospital almost 10 years ago as a Kennel Helper. Robert currently works as a part-time receptionist.




Deena has been a Certified Veterinary Assistant since 2010. Deena loves animals of all kinds and has a soft spot for black cats. Her furry family includes 2 black cats, a spoiled mutt and a stray Great Dane. Deena found Tar River Veterinary Hospital by bringing in her Great Dane for vaccinations and a microchip. He joined Deena's family and she joined the Tar River family. When she is not working, Deena loves spending her time with her young son, Elliott, her husband and her stepchildren.


Maureen Buck began working for Tar River Veterinary Hospital 7 years ago. Maureen is "owned by three Miniature Dachshunds, a Poodle/Maltese mix, a Bergamasco (Italian Sheep Herding Dog), and three now spayed cats". Formerly, Maureen showed champion Bergamasco dogs and Bouvier des Flandres. Maureen has also rescued and placed countless dogs over the years. 




Kelly is a graduate from the University of Maryland, and a licensed NC EMT. She has worked as a veterinary assistant since 2008, in North Carolina, Texas, and Guam. Since 2011, Kelly has resided in Kittrell with her three dogs, cat, eight chickens, and two peacocks. Since moving to North Carolina, Kelly started working at Tar River Veterinary Hospital and Banfield. Her love of animals has led her to assisting Dr. Goldman with her rabies clinics. In addition to hanging out with her animals, Kelly loves running, biking, and being outdoors.





Tyler is the IT Manager. He has been with Tar River Veterinary Hospital since 2015. He is currently a Security Analyst in Greensboro for Solve IT Security (Learn more about them here). He also owns his own IT Consulting Business, Tri-City Technology, LLC, which specializes in small-office and home-office IT consulting (Learn more about that here). Tyler ensures that Tar River's data and network are consistent, secure, and accessible. Additionally, he manages the online presence for our company.
