MEET THE TAR RIVER TEAM
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
Dr. Elyse Goldman, DVM
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Elyse Goldman attended North Carolina State University for both her BS (1981) and DVM (1985) degrees. Following her passion for animals, she opened Tar River Veterinary Hospital in 1989. She is very pleased to say that she and several members of the staff have been together since the early days.
When she is not busy at the hospital she is spending time with her husband, sons, 3 dogs, 6 cats (that live at the office), chickens, and especially the newest member of the family their granddaughter. Dr. Goldman also enjoys gardening, playing hand bells, scrapbooking, working out (occasionally) and the benefits of her husbands favorite hobby - cooking.
